Portsmouth Friends of the Earth is a friendly group of volunteers campaigning to improve the environment locally and globally.
We campaign for sustainable solutions to environmental issues such as air pollution, climate change, loss of natural habitat and bio-diversity. Our activities include community walks, public meetings, audits, themed bike rides, film screenings, petitions, reports, information leaflets, attending council meetings, stalls and stunts to help make Portsmouth a walking-friendly, nature & bee-friendly and clean-air city.
The best way to get involved with our campaign activities is to come along to one of our monthly meetings. These are held on the third Monday of the month, 7pm – 9 pm,online.
If meetings are not for you, there are lots of other ways to get involved eg joining our walks, taking photographs, helping on stalls, signing petitions, designing posters.
To find out more, email firstname.lastname@example.org, follow us on social media: facebook; twitter and instagram, join our monthly newsletter, or come along to our meetings.
