Portsmouth Friends of the Earth is a friendly group of volunteers campaigning to improve the environment locally and globally.
We campaign for sustainable solutions to environmental issues such as air pollution, climate change, loss of natural habitat and bio-diversity. Our activities include community walks, public meetings, audits, themed bike rides, film screenings, petitions, reports, information leaflets, attending council meetings, stalls and stunts to help make Portsmouth a walking-friendly, nature & bee-friendly and clean-air city.
The best way to get involved with our campaign activities is to come along to one of our monthly meetings. These are held on the third Monday of the month, 7pm – 9 pm, in the Community Space in Tesco’s Extra, Fratton Park, PO4 8FD. Everyone is welcome.
If meetings are not for you, there are lots of other ways to get involved eg joining our walks, taking photographs, helping on stalls, signing petitions, designing posters. To find out more, email us, follow our Facebook Page, join our email newsletter or come to one of our meetings.
