Portsmouth Friends of the Earth supported the Climate Coalition’s #ShowTheLove celebration of everything we care about and want to protect. From 1st to 21 February we asked you to draw colourful chalk hearts on the pavement showing your friends, neighbours, local councillors, what you love in the city – this could be your favourite tree or bench, a wildflower bed, bike parking, cycle path etc.
If you’re able, take a photo and share using #ShowTheLove and #Portsmouth . We’ve teamed up with Greenpeace Portsmouth who would love you to share photos at #TransformTransport. This is a fun socially-distanced activity. All you need do is pop a piece of chalk in your pocket and go for a walk around the streets in your neighbourhood.
