Portsmouth Transport News

The road along Canal Walk and Somers Road North junction has been closed to through traffic.  Connecting to Sydenham Terrace and the cycle route through the park to the North, this will make safer routes to local shops and the city centre.  Email your views to the council at EATF@portsmouthcc.gov.uk

A new cycle route is proposed along Elm Grove and Kings Road in Southsea.  It aims to encourage new cyclists, to create a more welcoming environment for visitors and to support the growth of local businesses.  Have your say here (closing date 8 October).  It is important that the council receives positive feedback about this scheme if you want it to happen.
